Acadia St. Landry Hospital Welcomes Dr. Jacob M. Clement to The Point Primary Care.

Acadia St. Landry Hospital announces that Dr. Jacob M. Clement will join our team at The Point Primary Care, our newest clinic location in Church Point. Dr. Clement, a Louisiana native, will enhance our commitment to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care to the community.

Dr. Clement recently completed his Geriatric Medicine Fellowship at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Lafayette, LA. Before that, he completed his Family Medicine Residency at the same institution. Dr. Clement earned his MD from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, LA, and holds a BA in Pre-Medicine/Biology from Nicholls State University, where he graduated summa cum laude.

Dr. Clement has already shown dedication to the medical field through his awards and research contributions. He has presented at national conferences and has been involved in projects aimed at improving patient care, such as his clinical innovation project to prevent medication errors in geriatrics.

Dr. Clement will be joining Dr. Carrie Guidry at The Point Primary Care. The Point Primary Care, located at 820 South Broadway Street, Church Point, is set to open in August 2024. The clinic will offer a wide range of services, including Family Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, Primary Care, Preventative Care, and Chronic Disease Management.

Acadia St. Landry Hospital will host a meet-and-greet event with Dr. Clement and Dr. Guidry, offering the community an opportunity to enjoy a cup of coffee and connect with our newest physicians.
