Acadia St. Landry Hospital is pleased to announce a new management partnership with Genesis Behavioral Health for our Behavioral Medicine Unit and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), now called The Point Navigate Wellness. Genesis Behavioral Health, a respected provider in the field of behavioral health and substance abuse treatment, will take over daily operations for these key service lines, marking an important change in how we deliver mental health care.
Genesis Behavioral Health will focus on providing specialized care for patients dealing with a variety of mental health issues. The Behavioral Medicine Unit, an essential part of our hospital, is expected to continue our commitment to high standards of both quality of care and efficiency under this new management.
Furthermore, Genesis Behavioral Health will oversee The Point Navigate Wellness, our newly rebranded intensive outpatient program. This program provides structured outpatient care, offering therapy, group sessions, and resources to support long-term recovery, with plans for future expansion into substance abuse treatment.
