Reflecting on a Year of Resilience and Compassion

As we approach the end of another impactful year, I am compelled to extend my heartfelt gratitude to each member of our team and community. The challenges we faced have been met with strength, unity, and a commitment to bringing Big Care to our Small Town.

In reflecting on the past year, it’s impossible to overlook the incredible efforts of our clinical team here at Acadia St. Landry Hospital. Their tireless work, compassion, and resilience have been the bedrock of our response in providing the highest quality of care. Our support staff and administrative team also played a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our hospital. Their behind-the-scenes efforts did not go unnoticed, and their contributions are deeply appreciated.

I would also like to acknowledge the support we’ve received from our community members. Your understanding, patience, and cooperation have been crucial in helping us grow to meet your expectations. Your commitment to the health and wellness of our community has been nothing short of inspiring. Throughout the year, we have witnessed acts of kindness, solidarity and generosity of spirit that have reaffirmed the strength of our community bonds. I want to emphasize our commitment to providing ongoing opportunities that foster community engagement. We are dedicated to organizing events like the recent food drive, Angel Tree initiative, and Community Health Fair, which not only contribute to the betterment of our community, but also exemplify the values we share with each of you. As we look to the future, I am confident that these values will continue to guide us.

Looking ahead, we are excited about the opportunities to further enhance our services, embrace innovation, and strengthen our partnerships. The health and well-being of our community will remain at the forefront of our mission.

In the spirit of transparency and collaboration, we are committed to continuously improving our services. While significant strides were made in the past year, we recognize that there is still a distance to cover. At ASLH, our goal is to deliver outstanding patient care and customer service. We are individuals, your neighbors, your friends, striving to offer the best possible care to fellow humans. Your feedback is invaluable to us, and I encourage you to share your thoughts, suggestions, and concerns with me. Your input helps us shape the future of healthcare in our community. I remain committed to having an open-door policy to our employees and those in our community.

As we turn the page on the first season of growth together, we enter the new year with hope and optimism. We look forward to building on the lessons we have learned, the strengths we have discovered, and the bonds we have built within our community. In the coming year, we remain committed to providing exceptional healthcare services, advancing medical innovation, and actively contributing to the well-being of our community.

As the holiday season is upon us, I wish you and your loved ones a peaceful and joyous time. May the spirit of community and togetherness bring warmth to your hearts.

Thank you for being a part of our journey. Here’s to a brighter and healthier future for us all.

With gratitude,

Michael J. LeJeune
