Physical Therapy

Physical therapists are healthcare professionals who diagnose and treat individuals of all ages who are experiencing pain and or difficulty with movement or performing functional activities of daily living.  Whether the individual’s problem is a result of injury or disease, the goal of physical therapy is to return the patient to maximum function. Physical therapist may use a variety of treatment techniques to include but not limited to electrotherapy, ultrasound (high-frequency sound waves to produce heat), hot packs, ice and therapeutic exercise.
